Croydon Voluntary Action Resource Centre, 82 London Rd, Croydon CR0 2TB, UK
About the event
The last few weeks have seen riots, violence and attacks on Black, Asian, Muslim and Immigrant communities across the UK by far-right racists.
A planned visit to Croydon by organisers of these so called ‘protests’, was thwarted by a huge public show of support for anti-racism and multiculturalism in the borough. Coming at a time when Violence Against Girls and Women is at an all time high, it is no wonder that Black women are feeling vulnerable.
Soul Purpose 360's Black Women’s Networking & Empowerment Circles, holds ‘safe spaces’ for Black women. This workshop will enable participants to voice their concerns, to be heard and to connect with others.
