RWBC - Southwark
This flagship empowerment initiative funded through the THINC Fund to strengthen the health, wellbeing, and civic participation of Black and global majority women in the borough. The Southwark programme delivers two workshops each month alongside four themed community events throughout the year, creating culturally sensitive, safe, and inspiring spaces where women can gather, heal, learn, and lead.

About This Programme
Resilient Women Build Communities is our most impactful programme, recognised by The People's Health Trust as one of their most effective funded delivery projects. We support women who have experienced personal and social trauma to rebuild their confidence, reconnect with their communities, and develop the skills to lead positive change.
All sessions are delivered by trained, trauma-informed facilitators who understand the barriers facing Black and global majority women. Participants shape the content and direction of their own journey — at their own pace.
