Hi, I'm Rebecca,

Soul Purpose 360 is a sisterhood, it's a space were we are supported, encouraged, celebrated and empowered to live our truth.

I am proud to be a facilitator of the Croydon group, working with Black women in the community to bring about the social change - which Soul Purpose 360 is all about

Carlene Antonio

Hi I am Carlene Antonio,

I joined Soul Purpose 360 because I wanted to be in an environment with likeminded women and make a difference in my community.

I am a facilitator because I believe in the vision, having a safe space for Black women to be our authentic self is so important.

You should join Soul Purpose 360 if you want to be part of a sisterhood that inspire and motive each other to be the best version of themselves.

We invite you to join us in the Soul Purpose 360 Network of like-minded Black women, with similar experiences, desires and aspirations from across the UK from where you can share and be supported, learn and grow, be inspired and have fun.  Follow this link to join the national Black Women's Networking & Empowerment Circle  - Click here

Lisa Broderick

Hi I'm Lisa,

I joined Soul Purpose 360 after the IWD2022 “Cultivating Black Women" event.  I am proud to be part of Soul Purpose 360 as a great believer in supporting women and girls to be a better version of themselves and empowering others.  I am a women's rights activist and believe in the ethos of what Soul Purpose 360 stands for.

I recommend joining, as it empowers women no matter where you are in your life journey.  It's a friendly, welcoming platform where you can feel supported without judgment - it provides a safe space, which is really important in current times, because as Black women we are up against so much.

AFYA

In Partnership with

Croydon Council's Creative Health Team

Using creative arts to reach Black women

Afya is Swahili, and relates to the state of being free of physical or psychological disease, illness, or malfunction. It encourages us to invest in ourselves by acquiring skills and taking care of our physical and emotional health.

Every day individual discrimination brought about and exacerbated by exposure to institutional and systemic or structural discrimination can increase our exposure to ‘the wear and tear on the body’, referred to as Allostatic load.   There is sufficient scientific evidence to prove that Allostatic load affects women of African and Caribbean descent are at a higher risk resulting in ill health and premature death.    As a result, Black women’s bodies are most likely impacted by a plethora of interconnected health issues so there is a need to take a holistic approach to tackling these issues if we are to make a positive impact in driving down health inequalities by increasing interaction in health care services.

Join us for an information pack day that will be set in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
